Our local club has offered an American Flag program as a community project for more than 20 years.  We provide the flags, brackets, and manpower for nearly 100 businesses in and around Seymour. 

Flags are raised at 7:00am and lowered at 5:30pm by Seymour Lions Club members.  This is done on the following major holidays and Seymour Events: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Apple Festival (in September), Veterans Day, and various special occasions (like the return of a military unit, etc.).

This year, we collected more than $1200 for this service; and we will use this money to continue to serve our Seymour community.
